Classes are 5:45-6:45 am. Say what?! Yes, it's early. I wasn't stoked on the idea when I first heard it either.
But you know what? I did a boot camp this early and LOVED IT!
Because at 6:45 you're done. You've taken care of one of the most important aspects of your health before some people are even out of bed.
Your body gets used to working out early, and it's GREAT for your metabolism. You'll be surprised how much more you get DONE because you're up and invigorated that early.
Location: The camp is located at St. Andrews, which is absolutely beautiful with lots of space for you to move around!
We also will be playing outside most days (when it's warm and dry) in the courtyard and area around St. Andrews.
Boot Camp runs Monday to Thursday and you can choose to participate 3 or 4 days per week

“Yoga fitness bootcamp has been an incredibly empowering experience for me.
As hard as it is to wake up at 5:00 in the morning, the benefits are so worth it, as the rest of the day leaves you feeling amazing.
Katrina has a very uplifting nature that positively encourages us all to move beyond our limits. The bootcamp has a beautiful integration of fitness, core strengthening and cardio, combined with yoga, intention and relaxation.
My body has changed considerably since beginning these workouts early this summer.
I have noticed especially that my core is stronger, and that it's much easier to get back on track and feel strong really quickly after taking a short break from any workouts. Plank pose has been the one exercise that my body proves it's getting stronger.
What used to feel like the longest minute in the world, now feels like it's only the beginning of the potential to hold strong in that position for much longer.
The way Katrina weaves the alignment principles of Anusara Yoga into the fitness aspect of exercise is remarkable. What's it like?
You can expect a wide variety of fitness exercises and dynamic yoga poses (no previous yoga experience necessary).
You'll feel your body transforming quickly due to your dedication. Part of the program is outside in the fresh air, and part of it is inside in the welcoming atmosphere of the yoga studio.
The whole idea is that you get stronger and leaner in an enjoyable and empowering way.
Think of a fitness boot camp.
The whole idea is you commit to an intensive exercise program for a specific length of time, work hard, and see results.
You will work hard, maybe harder than you’ve ever worked out in an hour, but beleive it or not, you’ll most likely LOVE the challenge. It might be a little intimidating of an idea, but you can rest assured you will not be degraded, yelled at, or belittled at any point in this boot camp.
In fact, the whole idea of the Yoga Fitness Boot Camp For Women is to build your confidence inside and out; strengthening your sense of self-worth at the same time your body becomes leaner and stronger.
The reason yoga makes this class totally unique and extraordinary is that it engages your whole being – body, mind, and spirit.
Think about it:
If you’re working with intention and focus while you run, do lunges, hold a challenging pose, or whatever else you might be doing, you’re going to get a whole lot more out of it.
If you think about your body being stronger, slimming down, becoming more healthy, or what have you, it helps you transform even faster.
And for us, as yoga instructors, alignment is super important.
When you learn to exercise with your body in optimal alignment you are less likely to create risk for injury. When you’re in alignment you increase your circulation optimally, which leads to a healthier body.
Yoga can be challenging and yet totally stress-relieving at the same time.
You’ll feel more uplifted from the inspiration you receive each day, and satisfied as you use mindful alignment to lengthen your muscles and release tension. Your body will thank you for stretching every time you ask it to work hard, and there are always modifications so you practice poses that feel good for your individual needs.
