FAQ and Refund Policy

What’s the boot camp like?

It’s a super challenging, totally rewarding workout. The whole idea is for you to get stronger, leaner, and more fit in a fun and empowering way. You’ll be led through a wide variety of fitness exercises and yoga poses, and will find your body transforming quickly because of your dedication.

How do I sign up now?

Go to the registration page: Register for Yoga Fitness Boot Camp

Once you have filled out the registration form, please follow the payment instructions. You can pay via credit card online through Paypal, or pay cash or cheque by following the instructions when you register. Paying in advance secures your spot, so it is recommended you pay online. We’ll email you once we’ve received your registration welcoming you to camp and giving important info so you can get the most out of the program.

If I do the 3 day program, can I pick the days?

Yes! You absolutely have the freedom to work with your schedule here. You can even do 4 days one week and 2 during another or otherwise move the days around to work with travel and other responsibilities. Just make sure you do the number of days you’ve paid for during the session.

What does it cost?

It depends on the camp. Pricing available with each session’s registration.

What’s up with the early time?

The classes are 5:45-6:45 am. Yes, you’ll have to get up early, but you’ll likely be surprised at how incredible you feel at that time of the morning (other than the initial getting out of bed part) and how GRATEFUL you are that you got out of bed.

At this time of day, you probably don’t have any schedule restrictions. Which means the whole excuse of not having enough time to work out is taken out of the equation. You go to camp, have an incredible, empowering experience, and at 6:45 you’re glowing with vitality and ready for a super-charged day.

What kinds of people go to camp?

People of all shapes, sizes and abilities come to boot camp. The boot camp is for people just like you, who need a jump start to their health and fitness program, or who want to be guided in a fun and challenging way.

It is important that you have some exercise experience, but you work at your own level. For example, when we do a short lap, some people run, some jog, and some walk. If you show up consistently and do your best, you’ll be amazed at how much you improve.

What can I expect from the boot camp?

The format for the boot camp is dynamic and the exercise structure changes daily, so it stays fresh, fun, and challenging. The basic outline is about 40 minutes of intense fitness (cardio, weight, circuit, and core training), and 20 minutes of strengthening and rewarding yoga. However, that is a general estimate just to give you an idea.

Results vary as every individual body is different, yet if you show up and exercise, you will definitely find physical changes happening. You are very likely to lose inches and gain muscle, but it all depends on how you apply yourself to the workout.

It is important that you understand how integral boot camp can be when combined with healthy eating and other activities. This is about creating a healthy lifestyle and making taking care of yourself a priority and habit. It is far more important to focus on how you feel, than pounds or inches.

Why is a boot camp better than me just working out on my own?

It is very likely that you’ll work much harder in the boot camp than you would on your own, which makes that one hour of time all the more effective and valuable.

When you make a commitment to come to boot camp, you carve out that time in your day for your health and fitness. You are much more likely to be consistent with your workout because of this. Also, you don’t have to think about what exercises to do, you simply follow the teacher’s lead.

Will my body be sore sometimes?

It is common for people to feel some soreness for the first few days, but after that it is generally slight to moderate. Remember, being satisfyingly sore is an indication that you’re working hard, which lets you improve.

What do I need to bring to camp?

You will need to bring a set of 5 or 8 lb. hand weights, and a yoga sticky mat.

You can use a second mat for outside, or put a towel under your regular yoga mat so it doesn’t get dirty.

Please bring a blanket if for the outside days.

Also, bring water to keep yourself hydrated during your workout. You may also want a towel to dry off (you will be sweating), and any personal items (shower kit, clean towel and change of clothes) if you choose to use the showers afterwards in the morning camp.

Here’s a list to sum it up:

  • Weights
  • Yoga mat for inside
  • Outside mat (or towel for under your mat)
  • WATER
  • Towel and/or blanket
  • High Quality Protein shake or meal replacement to eat after camp

SPECIAL DISCOUNT: You can get a discount on your weights and other exercise equipment at Physique Fitness near Nature’s Fare. Just mention that you’re with the Yoga Boot Camp and Catie will take care of you. The Runner’s Sole also gives us a discount!

Is there a refund policy?

If you notify us 10 business days prior to your session start date, we can offer you a refund. However, there will be a charge of $50.00 for the cancellation fee.

If you notify us less than 10 business days before the session or after the boot camp session has begun, we can only extend a one-time credit toward another boot camp if you can provide a doctor’s note as to why you are unable to attend. This credit is nontransferable. There is no cash refund. This is non-negotiable.

This is a commitment you make to yourself. It is up to you to get the most out of it.

Please Note: The offerings of Yoga Fitness Boot Camp are subject to change as we are continually improving the program. Thanks for being open and in the flow.

If I miss a day (or several) can I make it up or get my money back?

Due to the high demand for places in the program and the nature of life, there are no make-ups or refunds for missing camp.

What is a typical day like at Yoga Fitness Boot Camp?

Each day’s activity is intentionally different so you don’t get bored and your muscles are strengthened in different ways. However, you can expect some cardio and light running, plus weight, core and circuit training each week. I teach you a lot about alignment and proper form for exercising. You will also cultivate great core stability.

What is the Pre Camp Evaluation?

The Pre-Camp Evaluation includes the following:

  • You are welcomed and will get an introduction to Boot Camp, plus you’ll have a chance to ask any questions you may have. We will also review any medical conditions you may be working with.
  • We will take a few simple measurements and record your weight to get a starting point and see where you are before to beginning camp. We don’t care what the measurements show. It is just to have a comparison so you see your results when you do the Post-Camp Evaluation.  Remember, the numbers don’t matter. This just allows us to be able to measure your improvement, which is empowering for you because you have measurable results.
  • You will receive your Boot Camp Magazine (great tips, recipes and ideas in here!)
  • Please note, there is only one time for pre-camp and post-camp measurements. If you miss it, it’s okay, however do your best to be present so you can get the most out of what is offered in the program.
